How does Invisalign® treatment work?
You can get a brand-new smile with these six easy steps. The Invisalign® system is a doctor-directed treatment and is not sold directly to patients.
Step 1
Meet with Dr Dinesh and start discussing your new smile. Using the Trios 3Shape® digital scanner, he can take a fast and precise 3D digital scan of your teeth and map out a custom treatment plan just for you.
Step 2
We will create a 3D treatment plan based on your records and prescription.
Step 3
A series of custom-made aligners are created with advanced 3D printing technology, and will be shipped to our clinic from their manufacturing unit. We will then contact you for your first aligner-fitting appointment.
Step 4
You will be fitted with your aligners and given 3-4 sets to take home.
Step 5
At check-ups every 6-8 weeks, we will give you the next 3-4 aligners in the series.
Step 6
At the completion of your treatment, you will be provided with retainers to help protect your new smile by holding your teeth in their new position.

Removable aligners provide more comfort than traditional braces. Traditional metal brackets dig into your lips and cheeks. The result can be painful sores. You can apply wax to the outside of your brackets, but the wax usually falls off quickly. 6. Eat and Drink What You Like

Therefore, caramel, gum, nuts, cookies, popcorn, ice, corn on the cob, carrots and apples are not allowed.
Best thing about removable aligners is that they don’t interfere with your regular diet. It is possible to develop plaque and bacteria inside the aligners if food particles get caught inside. Upon removing them, you should properly place them in their travel containers to avoid contamination or loss. 1. Is there an age limit for Invisalign?
Invisalign can be used by anyone! Many patients in their 40s, 50s, and even 60s successfully complete an Invisalign treatment. A full-grown adult’s Invisalign treatment may take longer than that of a child or teen’s, but an adult can have serious dental issues corrected with Invisalign without much difficulty.

5. How often do I have to Check-up?
We recommend periodic check-ups in order to ensure teeth are moving normally. These appointments are less frequent than if you were wearing metal braces because the aligners are made at the beginning of the process. We see patients less frequently as Invisalign® dentists, since our check-ups are only to make sure everything is working properly.
