Comprehensive Dental Exam

Dental care for the entire family

There is much more to a comprehensive dental examination than just cleaning your teeth. During this visit, the dentist will cover all aspects of the patient’s oral health, including pre-existing conditions, gum health, even screenings and diagnostic exams to ensure that the patient’s mouth is in the best, most healthy condition possible.

Comprehensive Dental Examination

Why should you have a regular dental check-up?

A comprehensive dental exam is an important part of maintaining good oral health. During a comprehensive exam, we thoroughly examine your teeth, gums and mouth for any signs of trouble, check for any cavities or other damage that may need to be repaired.

The comprehensive dental examination is an important part of preventative dental care and can help to identify problems early on.

It is better to prevent than to cure!

Ideally, you should see our dentist every six months. However, this isn’t always possible. We often forget to schedule a dental checkup. Often, people skip dentist visits for up to five years.  A person might feel embarrassed for putting off a dentist’s appointment for so long, which can lead to a self-perpetuating cycle. Another reason you might not want to go to the dentist is if you have had a bad experience before. It is essential to maintain healthy teeth and gums over the long term through regular dental cleanings and check-ups.

No matter what the reason is for not having regular checkups, we will always treat our patients with respect and understanding. Sometimes, those who believe that they have the worst dental problems require very little or no treatment at all.  The team at Dental At Forest Hill is always friendly, and there are never any judgements. Therefore, there is no need to worry. You can count on us to take care of your case.

Call Us to Schedule a Checkup Today

To schedule a dental checkup, call (03) 9878 3233. We will make sure you have everything you need when you arrive. In order to diagnose any infection or decay beneath the surface of your teeth or gums, we will take images of your teeth and gums. Additionally, we will inspect your gums and each of your teeth visually. As part of this examination, we will also look for signs of infection, tooth decay, gum disease, and oral cancer.

In the event that any of the above issues are identified, we will discuss treatment options with you, and we may even be able to treat minor cavities that day. We will discuss the procedures in detail before beginning them to ensure that you are comfortable with them. Furthermore, we will clean your teeth before you leave, so there will be no plaque or bacteria. You can trust us to provide you with the best dental care possible.

Payment Options / Plans

Payment plans are essentially loans, which can support you in managing the high cost of dental treatment. Rather than paying for your dental work in an upfront lumpsum, a payment plan allows you to pay in instalments over a period of time. We have onboard, payment plan service providers who will make your payment plan’s instalments even more affordable.

There are several payment options available at our surgery including Cash, Cheque, EFTPOS, Credit Card, HICAPS, AMEX and Direct Deposit.
